As a community-based after-school Center managed by a staff of youth leaders who range from ages 15-22, Mission Dignity serves over 1500 underserved youth ages 12-23 during the year and works with more than 9 schools in San Francisco through our center services, outreach services and school-based services. Our youth leaders and adult directors provide young people with mentoring and peer advising services, tutoring, college assistance/college advising, youth development training, leadership and career training, employment, internships, and free use of our office resources. We provide our services in Spanish and English.
Our center relies on community support from business and non-profit professionals to partner with us to provide the important supportive coaching and mentoring to our youth staff. We are recruiting volunteers who are interested in mentoring and/or coaching our youth staff, and/or working with our center members (youth clients)in the following areas:
